South Jersey Energy Service Plus (SJESP), a division of HomeServe USA, is proud to participate in the HomeServe Cares Foundation Caring For People Program this winter season. Dubbed, “HomeServe Cares This Winter in South Jersey,” this special edition of the Program will provide a qualified low-income homeowner with an emergency heating system replacement at no cost.

To be eligible for the Program, homeowners need to meet three general criteria: they are facing an HVAC home emergency, a delay in repairs may cause serious health and/or safety issues, and they meet the financial conditions of the program. Full eligibility requirements and the Caring For People Program application form are available by visiting HomeServePeople.com. Applications are being accepted through mid-December.

“Heat is an essential element for the winter season in the northeast and we know there are some families that simply can’t afford to face a heating system emergency,” said Robert Young SJESP General Manager, Energy Services. “HomeServe Cares This Winter in South Jersey” provides us a perfect opportunity to give back to the community and to help a family that may be going through tough times. In fact, we want to take it to the next level this holiday season by helping a homeowner who has a system that is beyond repair and must be replaced.”

“HomeServe is committed to putting people at the heart of everything we do, and that includes engaging in socially responsible activities,” said HomeServe CEO John Kitzie. “Through the HomeServe Cares Foundation, we are able to support communities around the country, improve the quality of life for residents and our employees, and assist veterans and vulnerable homeowners. HomeServe is completely committed to spreading hope and strengthening communities, one home at a time.”

“I want to thank our vendor suppliers, including Peirce-Phelps, Inc., R.E. Michel, and P&N Distribution who are supporting our efforts this year by contributing the necessary equipment and materials. I also want to recognize our outstanding employee technicians who are providing the labor and expertise for the project. We hope to make this an annual tradition that continues for many years to come.” Young concluded.
